CHPC Capital Campaign: Making our Historic Building an Instrument for Modern Ministry

In January 2024, the Session (e.g., governing body) of Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church was tasked with developing a fully formed, costed, and financially supported capital campaign and building proposal, for Session action, for the renovation and modernization of CHPC. This Substack is intended to be a living record of that effort, with up to date details of the progress being made towards that goal. With God’s grace, and your support, our historic property can become an instrument for modern ministry, by living out the core values of an Open Heart that Values All, Building a Community that is Growing in the Spirit, both now, and for many, many years to come.

The Capitol Campaign Steering Committee is commissioned by the Session of Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church. It is comprised of Adrianne Marsh and Brandon Hunt (co-chairs) as well as Fred Biery, Rita Cohn, Beth Hannold, Spencer Hurst, Diane Shages, and Chris Smith.
